Mikuto Refreshing fun! Let me start by saying I'm not a huge fan of breakout games, so I didn't have very high hopes for Fizzball. Boy was I ever wrong! A refreshing twist on your usual brick-busting breakout game, Fizzball combines bright graphics with cute gameplay to make an addicting addition to anyones games folder. The graphics are great, with fun colors and cutely drawn animals to rescue, along with surprising weather effects which can be turned off if you're running a lower end PC. The point of the game is to rescue animals. To do this you have a small bubble called a "Fizzball" that grows in size as it absorbs smaller things in the area. Apples, pinecones and acorns are examples of the things to aim for to grow your Fizzball. Before it's large enough to actually capture animals it will bounce off of them, and the animals will react in surprising and amusing ways. New challenges are added in a timely manner, to keep the game from getting stale. All in all, this is what a perfect arcade game looks like. Try it, you won't be disappointed. skinflint It's like mixing Katamari Damacy and Breakout together. I played Katamari on the PS2, and, while different, this one mixes that crazy gameplay element into the brick-busting genre. Probably most people are going "Huh? What's Katamari?" ...however, I would bet that those that DO know what Katamari is are probably even more incredulous..."How do you mix Katamari into a game like this?"In a nutshell, Katamari Damacy has you gathering every-day objects up in a "ball" by running over them. The more objects you pick up, the bigger your ball...same principle applies here, but with an animal theme. This game is fun and I give it two snaps up. suo I played for 1 full hour of the demo and it was 100% good i give 5 stars and ordered for Christmas. |
