This game is in the same vein as Glyph. Almost exactly the same, as far as basic gameplay, and similar power-ups. I admit, I was hoping for a classic match-3, and when it instead had the "click the group" stylings of the Collapse series, I hesitated. But actually playing the game (with the inclusion of my favorite "spells" in Glyph), I was easily won over. Magic Shop includes a resource/purchase system which I always like, and also "characters" that introduce phases to the "days" that can alter how the level progresses (albeit on a minor scale). Wonderful character, engaging play, and without the feeling of timed pressure that turns me away from otherwise interesting games.
Clever
I wouldn't compare this game with Glyph. The gameplay is similar, but the graphics of Glyph are PURE ART. Magic shop is a simple game very well done, but nothing else. I enjoyed the demo.
