killjoy Not too fresh (Original publisher, Microprose weasel out of business few years ago), but maybe this is the best boardgame adaptation of all time. I love original boardgame, and Risk II can renew this legendary game. The new Same-time mode is very unique and very funny. And the music! Tchaikovsky's classic is maybe the best background music, if you want to dominate whole world. If i want to say only one word from this game, then i say: PERFECT. downmaster Who doesn't know the old board-game Risk? The most well known world domination game finally made it into the Reflexive Arcade stable. Not a moment to soon as my original RISK II was getting worn off. Play it alone or with some friends over multiplayer, the timeless concept combined with excellent graphics and classical music from Pyotr Tchaikovsky make for an ideal atmosphere. This game sure is worth playing on a lazy evening with some friends over a LAN connection or when you have a few hours to blow. Because this game will capture your attention and leave you dangling for more, it's an overall top score of 5/5 for me. |
